The Metro State men's basketball team moved into second in the NABC/Division II rankings, announced Tuesday. West Liberty (8-0) retained the top spot, getting 13-of-16 first-place votes. The Roadrunners (9-0), who received one first-place vote, recorded two victories over the weekend and were led by Jonathan Morse, who was named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference defensive player of the week for his efforts. The Fairview High School graduate averaged 12.5 points, 10.0 rebounds and 4.0 blocked shots, while shooting 81.8 percent from the floor.
