Microsoft Messenger To Be Replaced By Skype In March 2013
San Francisco:?With reference to an announcement recently announced by Microsoft, Microsoft has finally declared to discontinue their very well known world wide used Messenger on March 15th and are going to go with a latest alternate application with the name as Skype (an internet based telephony technology ?Skype? was first released in 2003 written by Estonian developer) that is bought by Microsoft by last year. And as a confirmation of this evolutionary change in the history of Microsoft has sent emails to its Messenger users to update or replace their current messenger with skype by using their existing accounts that got merged by introducing Skype (ver.6.0), the messenger has been malfunctioned worldwide except china.
The Redmond, Washington based technology announced in November that they have merged their messenger with skype.
Skype is a multi featured based applet that includes many attractive features like video calling free (for everyone who you know and is on skype), it includes instant messaging, and world wide calling at a very cheaper rate by using a simple web based voice over internet protocol technology by simply using micro phone webcam head phones and speaker phones as well. It was firstly found by Estonians Ahti Heinla, Priit Kasesalu, and Jaan Tallinn and later on May 11 2003 it was bought by Microsoft as an alternate to the messenger.
This applet also is more convenient as it has support for smart phones, computers and many other latest appliances. Skype is embed in many sources,?Facebook?is one of the biggest user of?Skype?which provide a video calling function to?Facebook?making it more competitive and effective.
Further, Microsoft bought this featured application for $8.5 Billion in 2011.
